We are growing fast and looking to hire a Director of Marketing to build out a new marketing team. From your first day, you will have the opportunity to make a valuable contribution to the team. This is a rare role in that it will have the opportunity to be the first marketing hire and build a team in a startup environment, all with the backing of an established and trusted industry provider. We are focused on growth, scrappiness, and innovation, and looking for someone who has the drive and passion to help us put it all together and crush it in market.
Responsibilities:
Soup to nuts develop our marketing strategy, including GTM strategy, product marketing, events, content marketing, lead gen, etc. to meet revenue and product awareness goals
Execute marketing plans including interfacing with external agencies
Oversee and manage marketing budget, evaluating opportunities to maximize impact
Be the expert across our products and their buyers. Develop product positioning and messaging that creates differentiation and product adoption in market. Own value prop generation for each buying persona
Create thought leadership and a robust content strategy
Ensure the successful launch of new features and offerings
Create high quality materials including decks, case studies, one-pagers, whitepapers, webinars, demo videos, and more to support revenue growth, thought leadership, and objection handling
Formalize processes, measurement tools, and reporting to ensure marketing accountability and maximum marketing effectiveness
Evaluate industry events and opportunities to establish solution awareness
Understand the evolving market, including buyer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape
Build a high-powered yet lean marketing team from the ground up, managing the future hiring, development, retention, and excellence of staff.
Requirements:
5-10 years of marketing or product marketing experience in the B2B technology sector (ideally within programmatic AdTech).
An understanding of programmatic advertising.
Strong ability to lead through influence and debate
Excellent storytelling skills and the ability to simplify the complex
A scrappy, roll up your sleeves mindset
Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple projects, programs and objectives
Deep experience hanging out in the technical details and partnering directly with Sales, Product Management and Partnerships
Strong written and verbal communication skills delivered across digital mediums.
Excellent people skills to interact with colleagues, clients, and third parties

Compensation $100,000 - $150,000 Base; Commensurate with experience
