What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Recruiter/Assistant position at Comtech PST?
Provides Administrative and Recruitment support in the HR Department. Works under the direct supervision of senior HR staff. Reports to the HR Manager.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Participates in recruitment activities, i.e., schedule and conduct interviews of qualified applicants.
2. Coordinates job posting and resume routing activities.
3. Process employee status change forms and maintains personnel files and records relating to benefits, compensation and employment.
4. Tracks applicants and coordinates information for special reports on insurance, EEOC, VETS, etc.
5. Identify staffing resources for each open position
6. Maintains social media platforms, and updates regularly.
7. Develops and updates job descriptions for all positions within the company as needed.
8. Recruit, interview, and provide recommendations for employment for qualified candidates
9. Interfaces with Managers and Sr Management for recruiting purposes.
10. Identify staffing resources for each open position
11. Reviews the job performance of personnel reporting to this position and makes recommendations regarding retention, promotions, transfers, reclassifications, and salary increases.
12. Maintains a positive work environment by professional and courteous conduct and communications with others, including supervisors, co-workers, clients, and vendors.
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Associates degree or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
1-2 years of experience recruiting and working in an Human Resources office in a Manufacturing environment required.
