Come help lead our Sales and Trade portfolio in a IT Delivery Manager Capacity! Our Sales and Trade portfolio is accountable for building, shaping and maintaining products responsible for delivering on our enterprise goals and establishing strong, omin-channel experiences. This portfolio works with a broad range of cloud-based technologies, traditional ERP platforms and, more importantly, is always looking for new capabilities to drive innovative solutions in support of or enterprise ambitions.
Reporting to the Portfolio Owner, the Delivery Manager is the conductor of the portfolio. You will be responsible for overall solution delivery and support of day to day operations of the portfolio. This means you would own all aspects of making our enterprise vision a reality; Taking Epics and making sure they are broken into appropriate features which can then be executed by the delivery teams to deliver high quality products that drive value to Conagra. You will also be responsible for overall delivery health reporting, testing strategy and resolving major delivery blockers. This role requires someone that has demonstrated experience in delivering sustainable IT solutions and is able to communicate just as effectively to developers, business partners and leadership alike. You will also need to be comfortable and have experience driving through and interpreting ambiguity to provide a clearer picture that can be executed upon.
You Will (position responsibilities):
- Facilitation of Program Increment (PI) preparation and planning. Including facilitation of decomposing epics to features and maintenance of product level Kanban board and calendar
- Manages dependencies across the portfolio, shared services and other platforms
- Delivery and explanation of metrics against program increments and sprints
- Produce status reports and portfolio level communications
- Portfolio resource capacity management
- Responsible for delivering new features and enhancements that drive business value
- Define testing plans and triage of defects
- Accountable for cutover plan execution and release management
- Accountable for transition of new products to support and operational excellence of products in portfolio
- Accountable for incident resolution/escalation
- Provides oversight to continuous delivery of products and services in support of capabilities, application platform delivery and operations
- Leverage relationships with vendors and key suppliers to deliver services and capabilities
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- Preferably based in Omaha, NE, or in Chicago, IL
You Have (position qualifications):
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university preferred or 8 years of experience in IT delivery. Technology focused degree or demonstrated experience in field.
- Experience delivering IT products
- Experience working with cross-functional information technology and business teams.
- You can relate technical concepts to leadership and business concepts to technical resources.
- At this time, we require applicants for this role to be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship either now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience delivering products the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Manufacturing technology experience preferred
- Experience working as a Delivery Manager preferred.
- Working knowledge of enterprise software licensing agreements
- Experience working within JIRA / Confluence
