What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Development Chef position at CONAGRA?

If so, we are looking for an Associate Development Chef to join our team in Omaha, Nebraska!
As the Associate Development Chef, reporting to the Development Chef, you will work as part of a cross-functional team to develop new menu concepts for our innovation pipeline within our brand at Conagra. You will focus on creating innovation concepts, identifying culinary trends and menu ideation for these new concepts. Once menus have been created, you will be responsible for gold standard product development and partnering with the product development team to bring these ideas to store shelves. You will also assist in the set-up and execution of product tastings and any internal/external culinary focused events in addition to maintaining essential kitchen operations.
What you'll do in this role:
Drive culinary trends at Conagra Brands through menu ideation, events and culinary-lead trend tastings
Execute and coordinate new innovation and technical tastings
Create gold standard recipes for new innovation and then collaborate with product development and other cross functional partners to work through commercialization of these recipes
Input and maintain formulas on inter-department shared drive
Work with procurement to identify and source new purveyors or specific ingredients to achieve our needs
Maintain inventory of ingredients used in the development process
Work pro-actively to stage ingredients for upcoming development sessions
Work with internal and external groups to arrange social activities
Maintain Kitchen operations (sanitation, maintenance, & organization)
What you'll need to be successful:
Associates degree in Culinary Arts or related degree
2 years basic foodservice experience preferred
Previous experience developing recipes and formulas
Previous experience with ordering, purchasing, sanitation and inventory
Sound culinary skills foundation
Ability to collaborate with all levels of the organization and present to ideas to leadership
Ability to work independently and within a team setting
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
We require applicants for this role to be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship either now or in the future.
This position is usually in the office Monday - Thursday (with some remote flexibility those days). Fridays are usually remote.
