Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead and manage our construction project from inception to completion in a multifamily condo project. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Project Manager will work closely with the construction team and clients to ensure that projects meet all regulatory requirements and exceed client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project plans, including project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Oversee and coordinate all aspects of construction projects, including site preparation, construction, and final inspections.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including building codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations.
- Manage and direct the construction team, including hiring and training subcontractors and laborers.
- Monitor and control project costs, ensuring that projects are completed within budget.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and delays, and develop contingency plans as necessary.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure that projects are progressing according to plan.
- Communicate project progress and issues to clients and stakeholders in a timely and effective manner.
- Ensure that all projects are completed with a focus on safety, quality, and sustainability.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
- Experience with project management software for scheduling of tasks and labor.
- Experience with construction site management, including managing laborer and subcontractors.
- Ability to manage and coordinate multiple units simultaneously.
- Experience with negotiating and managing contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, labors, and the construction team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks and delays.
- Proficient Spanish Speaker is a prefered.
