Job Description
The Dispatcher Service is responsible for receiving incoming service calls and key completed service tickets. This position will also dispatch service technicians as needed.
What your day will look like:
- Answers phones and directs calls accordingly
- Creates service calls in the system
- Keys completed service tickets
- Prepares work orders and distributes to service crew
- Schedules service calls and dispatches service crew
- Communicates with customers to ensure satisfactory performance of service
- Keeps records of service calls and work orders
- Dispatches orders and relays messages and special instructions to mobile crews
- Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management
What you need to succeed:
- Minimum age 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
- Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
- Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
- Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 3 to 6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Intermediate skills using MS Office Excel, Power Point, and Word
- Requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently
- Repeated sitting
