Financial and Air Clearance Transportation System (FACTS)Test Engineer
Job Summary
The Conceras LLC team provides expertise in software development and program support to
the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Business Systems Center (BSC) Financial and Air
Clearance Transportation System (FACTS). The FACTS application is a joint Department of
Defense (DOD) Program of Record for Air Clearance functionality that is an integral part of the
Defense Transportation System (DTS). FACTS provides shipping capabilities, as well as Cargo
routing for the Navy/Marines and Army. Conceras LLC team supports maintenance and enhancement of
the FACTS application. Part of Conceras LLC support includes providing services in providing
excellent testing abilities to ensure production releases are accurate and meet the expectation
of FACTS users. The tester leverages existing applications and environments to conduct
functional, regression and integration testing of code. The position is M-F and currently requires one day in the office (Tuesday) while the remainder of the week is remote. Working remote may change but not yet announced.

Skills:
- 3 - 5 years’ experience using Azure DevOps with an understanding of generating test scripts, test cases, and task
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in writing integration test plans
- 3 - 5 years’ experience using Microsoft Excel
- 3 -5 years’ experience using SnagIt or Snipping Tool
- 3 -5 years’ Visual Studio
- The tester will understand the Agile mythology, SCRUM processes, and participate in daily stand-ups
- The tester will have a clear understanding on how Azure DevOps works in creating task, test cases, and test scripts
- The tester will generate Integration Test Plan for all product backlog items assigned in Azure DevOps system of record that are applicable to change request, bugs and new functionality
- The tester will ensure all testing and documentation are accomplished in the system of record, Azure DevOps to ensure tracking of all work related to maintenance, enhancement and re-tested items are recorded for future reference. The documentation will include Integrated Test Plan, screen shoots, test scripts and correspondence between tester and developer
- The tester will ensure that his/her task are updated daily in the Azure DevOps system of record
- The tester will attend and participate in working groups and discussions pertaining to FACTS as is paramount to ensuring there is a functional, technical, and programmatic understanding of the goals for the systems proper function
- The tester will communicate with the development team to ensure understanding of the work to be performed when necessary
- The tester will create strategic test cases based on baseline unit test plan provided by developer ensuring testing for unexpected results all modules applicable
- The tester must be able to communicate clearly with FACTS staff that includes contractors and civilians
- Proven problem-solving skills with ability to analyze situation, identify existing or potential problems, and recommend solutions
- Team player with ability to work with all levels of internal staff, as well as outside clients
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision
- Outstanding level of professionalism in providing client support, including the ability to exercise good judgement, discretion, tact and diplomacy
