As Employee Relations Manager, you will be a crucial link between employees and management and will focus on creating a positive work environment for all employees.
Responsibilities:
- Write and maintain employee handbooks (i.e., Develop programs, policies and procedures to promote fair and equitable employee relations and business decisions)
- Verify program alignment with company vision and objectives
- Ensure company compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws
- Research & evaluate current employee benefit trends and manage employee benefit programs
- Evaluate current compensation trends and assist CFO with year-end compensation planning
- Address complaints from employees and work to create/maintain an inclusive company culture
- Update and maintain department employment records and organizational charts
- Plan and coordinate company events
- Work with departmental leaders to create and implement training programs
- Develop onboarding program for new hires
- Assist with talent acquisition processes as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- 3 years full-time work experience in a Human Resources role (7 years of full time work experience if you do not have a Bachelor's Degree)
- Solid working knowledge of the principles and practices of employee and labor relations
- Demonstrable experience in developing and executing programs that measurably impact positive employee relations
- Experience working in entrepreneurial and team environments
- A strong track record of setting and achieving goals
- Effective organizational and writing skills with a go-getter attitude
- Discretion, integrity and confidentiality - ability to responsibly handle sensitive information
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and SharePoint
- Experience with ADP TotalSource a plus
