About the Role

The IT Testing Engineer will apply a knowledge of software testing and analysis concepts, practices and procedures towards complex projects. Requiring experience in all phases of the SDLC and testing methodologies within a multi-platform environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrating experience within multiple SDLC approaches including: Waterfall, Agile, Iterartive concepts.
• Executing test cases, case writing, and defect logging.
• Providing test execution summaries to test lead.
• Documenting issues and defects within the defect management tool and following up with development team for resolution.
• Participating in peer reviews and other testing related activities.

Requirements

• Possess basic knowledge of Unix/Linux commands
• Possess basic database knowledge to run DDL, DML, and other SQL commands
• Possess basic knowledge in tools like JIRA, TFS, Putty, Selenium
• 1 years of experience validating batch/log files
