As a Technical Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the technical operations of the company. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient delivery of our products/services, maintain technology infrastructure, and drive continuous improvement in operational processes. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, a problem solver, and a strong leader who can drive results in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of technical professionals, including engineers, business analysts, and support staff.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize technical operations, improve efficiency, and enhance overall performance.
- Collaborate with the engineering and product teams to ensure seamless product/service deployment, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Monitor and manage technology infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud services, to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Identify operational bottlenecks, vulnerabilities, and areas for improvement, and propose and implement effective solutions.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for technical operations and ensure team adherence to these procedures.
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to technical operations, and present regular performance reports to senior management.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the technical operations team.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience (10 years) in technical operations management.
- Strong background in managing and leading technical teams, with a focus on team development and performance optimization.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud services, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make strategic decisions under pressure.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Project management expertise, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and allocate resources effectively.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP) are desirable.

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $131,939- $171,350.
