As a Senior Java Developer, you'll play an integral role in supporting our clients. You will partner with internal technology groups and lead a team of other software engineers to implement cloud solutions that align with the client’s overall objectives. You'll also serve as an innovation agent, identifying and recommending digital opportunities to modernize and improve our client’s system while ensuring that solutions align with their objectives and overarching mission.  You’ll enjoy meaningful work, knowing that your contributions lead to a bigger picture.

We need someone who can:

• Participate in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design.
• Write application code meeting defined requirements and adhering to documented design and perform unit and unit integration testing on that code
• Work with other technical team members, business analysts and SMEs in analyzing systems problems
• Provide impact analysis on proposed upgrades and enhancements
• Assist system and acceptance testers in troubleshooting anomalies, understanding impacts and identifying solutions to bugs or gaps in functionality
• Report issues and status to management, as directed
• Serve as a technical expert and identify/evaluate new technologies for implementation.
• Understand and adhere to all standards, ensuring that as code is written, it is compliant

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any other related field
• 12 years of hands-on development experience in Java
• 5 years of hands on development experience using Spring Boot
• 3 years of Kafka development experience
• 3 years of hands on development experience using Micro services, rest and soap web services  
• 2 years of architectural lead experience in any cloud environment
• 2 years of Apache camel experience
• Expertise in creating web applications using HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3 (SASS, LESS), Bootstrap, JavaScript (ES5), JQuery, AngularJS, AJAX, and JSON, NodeJS, and ReactJS

Preferred Qualifications

• DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes and Azure  experience is a plus
• OpenID connect and Oauth2 protocols and related Products like ForgeRock and Red hat SSO(Apache Keycloak)  experience is a plus
• HL7 FHIR knowledge is a plus
• MongoDB development experience is a plus
• Experience with Healthcare Clearinghouse or other industry Electronic Data Interchange field is a plus
