As a Systems Manager, you'll play an integral role in managing the IT components of a Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS). You and your team will partner with the operations teams to ensure the needs of the client are meet.
We need someone who can:
Use your distinctive combination of knowledge and hands-on expertise related to MMIS to manage IT staff, projects and budget for an account. You will interact with the account manager and client directly as the IT lead for the account. Provide technical leadership, problem solving and guidance to meet the needs of the client and operations team. Work with IT Security to ensure all security requirements are met.
Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent working experience
- Minimum of 5 years of management in a Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) environment
- Minimum of 10 years in the software development lifecycle planning, developing, testing, and implementing of software applications
- Experience and understanding to simultaneously manage large scale concurrent projects and effectively respond to unanticipated customer business priorities
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Communication skills to work effectively with staff, management, support personnel, client and interfacing agencies/companies
Preferred Qualifications For Consideration:
- Experience with COBOL DB2 systems
- Experience with JAVA based systems
