Job Description

Technical Business Analysis Engineer III



Job Description/Responsibilities:

Performs requirements gathering, analysis and create features, user stories and acceptance criteria for healthcare products. Analysis efforts including product enhancements and/or modernization of the product.

Create E2E process flows and articulate well to different levels of audience. Must adhere to (or if needed, define) the processes for requirement solicitation and documentation.

Work closely with QA on test plans and scenarios and be able to validate and test when and where necessary.

Work closely with the development team to detail system requirements/design specifications and system flows, enable constructive discussions / brainstorming sessions to implement the best-in-class solution.

Create mapping documents for various processes and include business rules, and database mapping.

Conduct demos to stakeholders and/or clients, track, and close feedback from such demos.

Ability to assess current functionality available in a product against market trends, regulatory requirements to be implemented in future version of the product.

Ability to drive and share the requirements with cross functional staff and Architects regarding product features to be implemented. Be able to think out-of-the-box to create new solutions as needed with E2E approach when seeking requirements and writing user stories.
Provide technical problem solving and deep solution expertise to the customer and Development teams. Provide technical leadership, guidance to coworkers, development, and testing teams, and help to drive MMIS efficiencies and improvements.
Leverage hands-on customer experience and proof-points to educate and engage the broader community of prospects, customers, partners, and coworkers.

Preferred:

 

Knowledge two or more of the following areas:

Claim Adjudication, including pricing and data validation.
Member Eligibility, Service Authorization, Reference, Benefit Plan/Coverage and Financial

Excellent understanding of the healthcare payer space with a minimum experience of 3 years in the domain.

Knowledge and experience with Agile methodology and tools.


Demonstrate excellent communication (written and spoken) skills.

Understanding of technical concepts like web services, UX

Adapt to change and flexible. Must demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively as a team as well as the maturity to work independently.

Quick learner, passionate about technology and results driven.

Degree – bachelor’s degree in computer science, Healthcare Administration, Engineering, or Similar area
Experience: 8 Yrs. as Systems/functional analyst or in similar role. Experience on a MMIS, Private-sector medical claims processing system, Managed Care, Eligibility or Disease Management account as a functional business analyst or subject matter expert or 5 years of experience on a Health Care development project, with ownership of one or more functional areas.
Intermediate skill level with SQL
Job Location: US (Remote)
Travel: Up to 25% if necessary

 

Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation-related information. For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is estimated salary range is $80,080.00-$127,920.00.
