Responsibilities:
- Direct traffic to ensure the safety of pedestrians and workers in construction zones
- Set up and maintain traffic control devices such as cones, signs, and barricades
- Communicate with construction crew and drivers to coordinate traffic flow
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks and accidents
- Monitor and report any issues or concerns related to traffic flow or safety
Skills:
- Ability to effectively communicate and give clear directions to drivers and pedestrians.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure the accurate placement of traffic control devices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and withstand various weather conditions.
Physical Demands & Work Conditions:
Must have the ability to stand/walk; reach with hands and arms; occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds, for up to 14 hours a day. Must be comfortable working in outside weather conditions; around moving equipment and machinery parts; moving traffic, and fumes and airborne particles.

- Construction / General Labor: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
