What You’ll Do
As a Help Desk Technician, you will assist in the upgrade of current network and help achieve the consolidation of remote offices into a centralized infrastructure. This position is responsible for assisting users with technical support related to hardware and software systems problem solving, solutions, and basic technical training.
- Provide prompt troubleshooting & resolution support to end users.
- Test and debug software and hardware issues in order to provide solutions to
- reported problems.
- Assist with coordinating the resolution of hardware/software system problems.
- Advise and assist end users with the operation and use of systems.
- Coordinate and maintain a log of request activities of the Help Desk; prioritize
- requests according to importance and length of time in queue.
- Configure and install desktop and laptop systems.
- Perform periodic maintenance of systems.
- Complete any additional responsibilities as assigned.
Required Experience
- Knowledge and experience with PC troubleshooting
- Knowledge and experience with basic networking
- Knowledge and experience in network cabling
- Basic understanding of Active Directory
- Basic understanding on Server and Workstation OSS
- Solid communication skills
- Self starter, capable of working alone or in a group
- Role is 100% on-site, and may require some travel.
