Class B Driver

Join our team as a Class B Driver at a leading fuel and lubricants distribution company in Lancaster. As a key member of our logistics team, you will operate a Tanker truck to transport cargo, fuels, lubricants; load and unload shipments, and ensure timely deliveries while adhering to safety regulations for the entire High Desert region, the Lancaster facility delivers to customers across Antelope Valley including Palmdale, Mojave, and to the Victorville and Apple Valley region.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class B commercial Tanker (Tank) to transport fuel and lubricants to specified destinations.
• Load, secure, and unload cargo, ensuring the safe transportation of goods.
• Prepare, receive, and provide documentation for deliveries and pick-ups to guarantee timely service.
• Maintain telephone/text contact with Dispatcher to receive delivery or pick-up instructions and/or changes to existing schedule.
• Keep accurate logs of travel and cargo in compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Perform vehicle maintenance and ensure the truck's presentation meets company standards.
• Offload bulk lubricants into tanks, totes, or drums and record quantities as per custody logs by hand, with the dolly, pallet-jack, and/or forklift.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or customer requests, assembling products on pallets.
• Store materials in the warehouse in an organized and accessible manner.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, drum dollies, and pumps; connect hoses for liquid transfers.
• Follow safety procedures, including proper handling of hazardous materials.
• Receive training to load from various loading racks properly and safely.
  
  

Requirements

• Valid Class B commercial driver's license (CDL) with Tanker and Hazmat Endorsements (Class A drivers welcome to apply).
• High school diploma or GED and Basic mathematical skills.
• At least 5 years of Comercial Driver experience.
• Certification and ability to operate forklift, pallet jack, drum dollies, and pumps.
• Experience in bulk/tanker freight.
• Dependable, adaptable, and detail oriented. Effective communication skills
• Good Record. Clean record is Preferred but not required.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, balance, climb, and reach overhead.
• Ability to handle and manipulate items using hands and arms.
• Walk, sit, and stand for an extended period.
• Carry, push, pull, and lift in excess of 75 pounds.
• Engage in coherent speech and possess the capacity to hear loud and soft noises.
