Reports to: Director of Golf, and 1st Assistant Golf Professional
General Purpose: Exhibits a positive attitude daily while assisting guests in the Golf Shop. Performs tasks assigned by Director of Golf, and 1st Assistant Golf Professional
Essential Duties:
- Answer telephone with an energetic and helpful tone.
- Assists guests with booking tee times using the EZ Links tee sheet.
- Ring in product sales using Club specific software.
- Assist in tournament preparation.
- Answer product related questions.
- Assist guests in finding the proper size/brand they are looking for.
- Responsible for daily upkeep in Golf Shop which includes but is not limited to: Restocking items such as hats/shoes/clothes, dusting/cleaning displays, folding clothes and vacuuming floors.
- Ensures consistent sound inventory levels of the following merchandise essentials: plastic shopping bags, paper shopping bags, packing tissue, gift boxes, bows,
- Ensures consistent inventory
- Assist the Pro Shop Supervisor for Shop displays in terms of display quality (depth, richness, product display, height, color, and seasonality), cleanliness, and refreshing/updating.
- Assists in inventory counts
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Will be responsible for opening and closing shift

Education/Experience: High school diploma preferred
Language Skills: May be required: to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos; to write correspondence, memos, and schedule; to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and fellow Staff.
Mathematical Skills: Basic math skills required.
Reasoning Ability: Problem solving, reasoning, and “thinking out of the box” will be a constant requirement; in addition, applying common sense understanding better serve our guests’ needs – both our internal and external guests.
Physical Demands: Regularly stands, walks and sits. Occasionally climbs or balances; stoops, kneels, crawls or crouches. Frequently uses hands to feel or handle; reaches with hands and arms. Frequently talks or hears; tastes or smells. Occasionally lifts up to 25 pounds.
Vision Requirements: Regularly uses close, distance, color, and peripheral vision as well as depth perception. Ability to adjust focus.
Certificates/Licenses: Valid Driver’s License.
Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:
- Ability to read and speak English required in order to perform the duties of the job.
- Basic knowledge of computing skills
