"Hands Off" Owner seeking "Hands On" Manager for busy and prestigious auto repair shop in Santa BArbara. Onsite Full time employment, with salary, bonus, and benefits. Duties include: 1. Work with Mechanics and Techs to ensure a safe, quality, efficient, and profitable workflow of repairs. 2. Work with Service Writer, Smog Tech, Shop Help, and Clerical Staff to ensure customer satisfaction, compliance, reporting, and profitability. 3. Step in to handle issues as they arise 4. Provide ideas to save time and money 5. Implement strategies to grow the business. The successful candidate must be: 1. Proficient in managing automotive repair. 2. Experienced in management of businesses and people 3. Good with people. Able to work with customers, employees, and suppliers. 4. Problem solver who is willing to work independently 5. Ready to make a long term commitment to an enterprise that will pay well
