Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Automotive General Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the profitability of the sales & service departments operations, ensuring excellent customer & employee satisfaction, increased market share & net profitabilty.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the service & sales department teams to deliver exceptional customer service
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales & service departments profitability
- Monitor and analyze service performance metrics to meet or exceed targets
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and quality repairs
- Handle customer inquiries, issues, and complaints in a professional manner
- Upsell additional services or products to customers when appropriate
- Maintain accurate records of service orders and invoices
Experience:
- 3 years proven experience in automotive sales & service as a general manager
- Strong sales skills with the ability to hold staff accountable.
- Proficiency in automotive service software systems
- Ability to negotiate effectively with customers and vendors
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus
- Experience managing a sales pipeline as well as a high used car acumen.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
