Daily responsibilities of a workday:
- You will “Desk” deals, helping salespeople close their customers.
- You will be responsible for training, leading, and developing the sales staff.
- You will assist in handling customer concerns, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within reasonable time limits using dealership’s CRM, phone, txt and email.
- You will provide the sales department with exceptional customer service.
- You will continuously develop product and sales acumen to become the vehicle authority; knows the ins and the outs of product offerings, optional packages, and the latest technologies for new and used cars.
- You will help find new ways to create new customers and to keep the existing customers.
- You will meet and surpass quotas and projections on a regular basis.
- You will provide essential documents and maintain impeccable record keeping.
- You will attend all required meeting, training sessions, and educational opportunities.
- You will work “shoulder to shoulder” with Finance Managers, Billers and other team members creating an efficient and positive workplace.

Qualifications needed to lead:
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to lead, and train.
- Consistent monthly results leading in new and used car sales.
- You have excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Reliable and presentable in business attire representing in a professional matter.
- Must have an excellent attendance record and a commitment to being on time.
- You understand the importance of listening and being empathetic while leading.
- You have strong work-ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- You have proven experience providing outstanding customer service by showcasing expertise, fostering trust, and growing customer satisfaction.
- You have at least five successful years of prior sales employment in the automotive industry.
- You have friendliness, enthusiasm, reliability, with a positive "team-player" attitude.
- You are open to constructive feedback to improve your performance and development.
- Flexible with work scheduling and availability to work weekends and holidays.
- You have strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Reynolds & Reynolds or CDK experience.
- You have shown stability in the job industry growing in each position you worked.
- You have a valid and clean NY state driver’s license and pass a drug and background check.
