What are the responsibilities and job description for the BI Negotiator position at Confidential?

We are looking for someone with a passion for law and people and who already has experience as a personal injury case manager for cases in the pre-litigation phase. Litigation experience is not necessary but certainly will be considered in compensation.
Key Responsibilities include:
Demand writing for all cases.
Negotiate 40-75 cases.
Follow up with adjusters to negotiate case and finalize settlement.
Communicate settlement offers with clients/attorneys.
Request release and assist with obtaining settlement checks.
Salary is commensurate with skill and experience and is negotiable. We give opportunities for personal and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Has experience in a personal injury law firm as a pre-litigation case manager managing more than 25 cases at a time
- Possesses strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skills
- Exhibits working knowledge of legal software, preferred but not required (Needles Neos) Microsoft Office and computer skills
- Must have graduated high school, received a G.E.D. or equivalent
- Proficient in case management involving motor vehicles, premise, and non sub claims.
- Comprehensive knowledge of medical records and terminology.
- Experience in demand writing.
Work Hours are Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Full-time in-office position.

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
