Prestigious Washington, DC law firm specializing in personal injury litigation is seeking an individual with extensive experience in claims management and automobile insurance. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling pre-suit personal injury claims, from intake to settlement, with a high-volume caseload. This includes working with attorneys in a team environment to ensure exceptional client service.
Requirements:
- Must have extensive experience in the insurance industry, particularly handling automobile and accident claims.
- Must be familiar with the relevant laws in DC, MD, and VA, as they apply to personal injury claims, e.g., PIP, UM & UIM claims.
- Must have exceptional oral and written communication skills, as the position requires extensive contact with clients, insurance adjusters and medical providers.
- Must be able to manage a high-volume caseload, with strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to prepare final distributions of settlement to the client, ensuring the accuracy and payment of Medicare, Medicaid, worker’s comp, A&A’s, and other liens.
- Must be a team player and able to function in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.
Starting annual salary is commensurate with experience with a potential for bonus incentives, along with competitive benefits including medical, dental, vision, STD & LTD, life insurance, and a profit-sharing plan.
