Job Summary
The Community Outreach position involves engaging with the community to promote awareness about the existing Community Solar Program that is available to the people of New York. This role focuses on building relationships, educating rate(bill) payers, and assisting them in the enrollment process.
Duties
- Conduct Outreach via Door to Door/Virtual Advertisement/Referrals
- Educate Rate Payers on the benefit of Community Solar
- Attend some Community Events
- Enroll rate payers in Community Solar
- Recruit community members for participation in programs
Requirements
- Strong leadership skills to guide outreach efforts effectively
- Experience in supervising and coordinating teams or volunteers(not required)
- Proficiency in data collection/ previous sales experience not required
-Ability to commute to and from work sites
