**Overview:** We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Document Reviewer to join our team. As a Document Reviewer, you will play a critical role in reviewing legal documents, ensuring they meet our standards, and supporting our legal team in their work. **Responsibilities:** - Review legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and correspondence, to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. - Familiarize yourself with various areas of law, including but not limited to Tribal law regulations, Patent law, Environmental law, Family law, and Workers compensation law. - Conduct thorough research using Lexis-Nexis and other legal databases to verify information and identify potential issues. - Identify and flag any potential errors or discrepancies in the documents. - Collaborate with legal staff to resolve issues and negotiate agreements. - Perform tasks related to legal administrative support, including preparing and filing documents. - Litigate documents in court as required. - Maintain accurate records and logs of all document reviews and associated activities. **Skills:** - In-depth knowledge of legal procedures and policies. - Familiarity with legal administrative tasks. - Strong analytical and research skills. - Ability to read and understand complex legal documents. - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong negotiation and communication skills. - Experience in a law office or similar setting is a plus. - Proficiency with legal databases, including Lexis-Nexis.
