Job Summary
We're looking for a Forensic Accountant. This role works collaboratively within the organization to ensure client business interruption claims are handled in a timely manner and clients receive optimal claim settlements. This role will report directly to the Director of Forensic Accounting.

Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of functions that may include developing and performing financial, accounting, economic, and statistical analyses
- Develop financial models using data analytic tools and programs
- Prepare detailed and complex spreadsheet and financial statement analyses
- Assist with document review, research, and quality control of data
- Assist in the preparation of client and expert reports
- Read, analyze, and interpret insurance policies, technical procedures, financial documents, legal documents and governmental regulations
Qualifications
- CPA
- Demonstrable professional experience (National Big Accounting firm experience a plus)
- Demonstrable technical accounting experience.
- Experience in commercial property & claims handling
- Ability to manage and lead a team
- Experience in performing substantive eview procedures on a variety of account balances, such as fixed assets, prepaid expenses, cash, accounts payable and accounts receivable, preferably in a variety of clients or industries
- Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP/GAAS, IFRS and SEC requirements
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to think independently and work without supervision; must be able to work in teams
- Willingness to travel
- Advanced data analysis skills
