A breakfast and lunch restaurant in Airway Heights, WA is seeking a chef. This position will lead the culinary vision for the restaurant, as well as manage the kitchen staff and maintain food quality and safety standards.
This position is ideal for someone who is:
- Currently in a Chef role or is a Sous Chef ready to make the jump to Chef

Role Responsibilities:
- Manage kitchen staff, providing leadership and coaching
- Ensure food items are prepared in accordance with quality and safety standards
- Develop seasonal menu items, pricing and sourcing guidelines in collaboration with the General Manager
- Order food supplies and kitchen equipment, as needed
- Store food products in compliance with safety practices
- Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen area
Applicate Requirements:
- Proven BOH foodservice experience, including experience planning menus, training employees, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Excellent time management, organizational and communication skills
- Ability to remove ego from conflict and work toward a resolution for both parties
- Commitment to continual learning
- Certification from a culinary school is a plus but not a requirement
