Summary
If you have experience in both recruiting and HR in either a tech or high-growth company, you will be excited about our HR and Recruiting Director opening! In this role, you will oversee the recruiting program, participate in recruiting, and implement HR programs and priorities. We’re seeking a partner who will set the overall recruiting strategic direction, partner with senior leadership and managers, be viewed as a resource to employees and someone who will roll up sleeves to help out with day-to-day recruiting. Responsibilities / Essential Job Duties
- Recruitment: Manage the full life cycle recruitment process. Recommend and implement strategies for growing our talent pipeline, post positions, screen resumes, conduct phone screens, coordinate interviews, source, and meet with managers to discuss status or present strategies to fill positions. Provide updates to leadership about the recruiting program. Manage agencies, vendors, job posting board contracts and the ATS.
- HR Programs: Oversee and implement the performance management process, employee engagement survey, compensation survey, policy development and training and development; Develop new programs as needed, such as a mentorship program.
- Culture Development: Serve as a culture carrier for the company, developing new engagement strategies and events to enhance team members’ connection to the company.
- HR Process Development: Continuously look for efficiencies in current processes and develop new processes as necessary.
- Training & Development: Develop and execute upon training and development activities, participating in the identification of training needs and vendor selection/management.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a resource to employees and managers, answering employee inquiries while being viewed as approachable and welcoming. Problem-solve employee relations issues that arise, in partnership with external HR and legal counsel.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, or Finance or equivalent combination or education and experience
- 5 years of experience in recruitment
- 5 years of experience in an HR generalist or BP capacity
- 3 years of experience sourcing and employment branding
- 1 year(s) of supervisory experience preferred
- SHRM-CP, PHR or CIR certifications, desirable
- Ability to build trusting relationships, being seen as approachable and helpful to employees and management
- Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage personal pipeline
- Leadership presence, with the ability to share insights to leadership about the HR and recruiting function and influence change
- Ability to exercise sound, independent judgement, and viewed as reliable
- Strong team player, able to roll-up sleeves and chip-in to help the broader company succeed
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills as you interact with all levels of the company
- Comfortable working at a fast pace under tight deadlines
- Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Excel; Demonstrated ability to establish competency with new technologies and applications
