Hydrovac Manager

The primary responsibility of the General Manager-Hydrovac Division is to drive the operations side of the business in a safe and efficient manner. Paying special attention to regulatory compliance, equipment utilization, billing, and customer service.

· Leads with strict adherence to company policies and procedures

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Responsible for Hydrovac division in the Louisiana market

· Responsible for final step of employee selection

· Understands and complies with DOT regulations, HOS, EDL’s and IFTA

· Responsible for the development of all foremen; operators and swampers

· Solicits work and develops relationships with customers

· Dispatches all equipment and operators

· Monitors and responds to all performance metrics including equipment and employee utilization

· Works directly with customers as a Sales Representative to meet expectations of all customers

· Understands, supports and is successful in a 24/7 oil field environment managing multiple crews utilizing slip-seating and other methods to maximize overall performance of the divisions

· Verifies employees process all project paperwork from Field Ticket to Invoice

· Supports VP of Sales with pricing strategies when necessary

· Fully supports all Safety Dept. directives and monthly employee training

· Understands and manages Fed and DISA trucking scores demonstrating continuous improvement and score reduction

Works directly with Fleet repair for both service and repair of all vehicles.

Position Requirements

· Bachelors degree in Business or equivalent experience desired.

· At least 2 years of Hydrovac, potholing or “super sucker” management experience, preferably in a non-union environment.

· Clean driving record and valid driver license.

· Oil field experience.

· Have successfully managed at least 30 employees with skills ranging from common laborer to specialized equipment operator.

Experience:

• Heavy equipment operation: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CDL A (Preferred)
