Position Summary: Senior IT experienced engineer/manager capable of running a 150-person company with minimal internal department personnel. Manage the technical support issues daily and utilize time management skills to keep the company running smoothly. Possess the communication ability to work with headquarter IT engineers from Spain. Have a dedication to IT security and manage internal phishing, spam training for the employees. Run internal backups for the organizational servers and keep a rotational copy of data offsite in case of disaster recovery.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage, support vendors and contactors as needed for internal project/IT assistance.
- Manage vendor contracts, quotes, and payments for various software systems.
- Oversee support issues for internal users and be able to manage the IT department with minimal outside assistance.
- Ability to manage the IT department budget for the year and perform quarterly CEO briefings on the status of the department.
- Responsible for end user support.
- Fully support, configure, maintain, and upgrade network and in house servers.
- Install and integrate new hardware and software applications.
- Maintain periodic updates to all systems.
- Ensure network security and system uptime.
- Monitor network performance.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
- Define network policies and procedures.
- Specify and design server equipment system requirements.
- Manage and update firewalls, Cisco VOIP solution.
- Manage the printer support and resupply contracts.
- Manage the mobile phone plan.
- Manage the security camera system.
- Other duties as assigned
Competences, Skills, and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Information Systems, or Computer Science.
- 5 years’ experience in a network administration role
- 1 year experience implementing security policies and programs.
- 5 years knowledge of best practices around management, control and monitoring of server, network, and security infrastructure.
- 3-5 years’ experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementations, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
- Familiarity with VMWARE, backup recovery solutions and methodologies.
- 3-5 years Cisco Meraki, Cisco Unity Voice communication, Fortinet, Windows Active Directory Server environment, SQL server familiarity.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

· Required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand for long periods of time; frequently move around workstation/area and production floor, using PPE all the time; position self to access different areas and angles of the product being assembled, to include stooping, bending, and crouching.

Work Environment:
· This position works in a non-air-conditioned/heated warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. Requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and some exposure to dust, noise, fumes, and gases.
