What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Specialist position at Confidential?
We are in need of an It Technician to assist our current Director of IT with our current network of computers, routers and other internet technologies. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual with two to five years of experience in networking and support. The ideal candidate will possess a working knowledge of networking and be familiar with common internet technologies such as routers, switches, firewalls and modems.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and configure systems, networks, and applications.
- Configure mobile devices to access computers or networks.
- Install, configure, and support peripheral hardware and software.
- Understand and interpret technical specifications.
- Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on hardware, operating systems, and software.
- Disassemble, repair, replace or upgrade faulty hardware or software components.
- Perform quality control checks on hardware or software components.
- Set up virtual machines for use in testing new computer platforms.
- Adhere to corporate policies, procedures and standards.
- Complete IT supporting tasks assigned by the Director of IT
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
