Laundry Attendant
Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a prominent client in Evansville, IN within the Hospitality industry.
Laundry Attendant Job Summary:
- $14/hour
- 2nd Shift: 2pm- 10:30pm. Full time, weekend availability required.
- Perform cleaning and proper handling of linens, tablecloths, napkins, and cleaning rags.
- Sorts soiled linen in the laundry chute by fabric type.
- Load and unload washing machines and dryers by fabric type.
- Feeds clean linen through gas heated iron press.
- Uses potentially dangerous chemicals in a safe and secure manner.
- May assist housekeeping by stripping guest rooms of linens and stocking linen closets.
- Other duties as assigned.
Laundry Attendant Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to read, write and understand work instructions.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
- Ability to stand, walk, squat, stoop, lift and bend for extended periods of time.
- Ability to pass background and drug screenings.
