POSITION OBJECTIVE.
Our client in Birmingham, Alabama is a growing and creative engineering and manufacturing services company, focused on providing innovative and unique solutions. They are actively looking for a Machinist Manager to add to their team. In this role, this person will work closely with the engineering and manufacturing teams to manage the scheduling, programming, machining, and quality of components.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED
1) Associates in Applied Science for Computer Numerical Control or similar.
2) 5 years of experience in programming and CNC machining
3) Ability to lead a team and maximize efficiency to stay on deadlines.
4) Train and mentor incoming machinists.
