We're hiring a Healthcare Maintenance Director with expertise in maintenance operations, central supply management, and driving. This role ensures facility safety, functionality, and compliance in addition to driving duties.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and lead the maintenance team, ensuring efficient operation and coordination of maintenance activities.
- Manage the central supply function, including inventory management, procurement, and distribution of medical supplies and equipment.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for healthcare equipment, machinery, and building systems.
- Collaborate with department heads to prioritize maintenance tasks and address facility-related needs.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards in healthcare facility maintenance.
- Develop and manage the maintenance budget, optimizing resources and minimizing expenses.
- Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective service delivery.
- Implement and maintain a system for tracking and documenting maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to staff in troubleshooting and resolving equipment and facility-related issues.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in healthcare facility maintenance.
- Foster a culture of safety and compliance among maintenance staff and throughout the organization.
- Participate in facility planning and expansion projects, offering insights into maintenance requirements.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in healthcare facility maintenance, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, safety protocols, and infection control standards.
- Experience in managing central supply operations, including inventory control and procurement.
- Proficiency in maintenance management software and computer-aided facilities management (CAFM) systems.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute maintenance strategies and budgets.
- Problem-solving aptitude and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving facility-related issues.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred:
- Professional certifications in Facilities Management, Healthcare Facility Management, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Joint Commission accreditation standards for healthcare facilities.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
