Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations at our facility. The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of all equipment, systems, and buildings. This is a leadership role that requires strong technical knowledge, project management skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance technicians and contractors
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs
- Perform routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly
- Manage repair projects, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and equipment inventory
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Train and mentor maintenance staff
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or degrees preferred
- Proven experience in maintenance supervision or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, high voltage electrical systems, mechanical equipment, logic controllers, and low voltage systems
- Proficient in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a logical approach to troubleshooting
- Effective communication skills to interact with team members, contractors, and other departments
