Job Summary: The Office Administrator helps with day to day tasks around the office including assisting the controller with accounts receivable and accounts payable as well as light Human Resources responsibility such as employee onboarding, maintaining the personnel files, and assisting with the weekly payroll. Additionally, the Office Administrator performs typical clerical and secretarial duties on an as needed basis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists with Employee onboarding paperwork for new and returning employees.
- Assists Controller with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable related tasks.
- Answers the phone and responds to Voicemail.
- Assists with weekly payroll processing.
- Assists with annual Worker’s Compensation Audit
- Assists with employee benefit programs such as Health & Dental Insurance.
- Orders office supplies and maintains adequate inventory.
- Collects the mail and distributes it appropriately.
- Coordinates all filing and recording keeping, paid bills, employee records, member records, etc.
- Attends weekly department meetings.
- Performs other similar tasks as assigned by managers.
