PLUMBING MANAGER
A large plumbing company is looking for a Plumbing Manager to assist in the day to day operations of the Plumbing Department. The Company needs a problem solver who is an expert in communications. Experience is key. The applicant must have experience in scheduling, hiring, technical applications, training, inventory control, meeting goals and managing within a budget.
Job Responsibilities and Roles
As the Plumbing Manager, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the day to day operations of the Plumbing Department. You will insure that the employees are trained on the Company's processes and procedures and the scheduled work is being performed in accordance with the Company's processes. You will review the daily service tickets to identify areas where additional training is necessary and you will develop a training program to insure success. Customer satisfaction is paramount so developing a method for ensuring customer satisfaction through feedback and follow up is critical.
Required Qualifications
Fifteen (15) years of plumbing experience
Five (5) years of management or supervisory experience
Elite organizational and communication skills
Ability to multitask
Must be well versed in Microsoft Office and have strong computer skills
Valid and clean driver’s license
Clean background
Essential Job Functions
Communicate with management, technicians, customers and third party vendors via telephone, electronic communication and face to face communications.
Uphold all of the Company's policies and procedures.
Develop a training program and provide technical and procedural support.
Develop and monitor a workflow to maximize department revenue and profit.
Lead and participate in meetings.
Resolve customer issues.
Assist in payroll.
Assist in creating, monitoring and governing departmental incentive programs.
Track employee performance.
Enforce company policies.
Develop and monitor the warranty process.
Monitor inventory, truck stock and fleet management.
Monitor and update customer/vendor files on all required platforms.
Respond promptly to inquiries and keep appointments.
Meet daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly goals.
Any other duties as assigned.
Special Requirements
Must be able to see and read information in written form.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, climb ladders, get in and out of vehicles, squat, bend, lift up to 75 pounds unassisted, read computer screens and type.
