We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Manager to join our team. As the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and comply with all relevant regulations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Formulates and maintains quality objectives complementary to corporate policies and goals.
- Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation of product and plant processes.
- Liaison with the customer(s) for product launch, product quality concerns and compliance with customer requirements.
- Represents and is responsible for IATF 16949 compliance and internal audit processes.
- Participates and contributes to the analysis of customer requirements, planning of manufacturing processes, process controls, product inspection and compliance with customer requirements for the launch of new or changed products.
- Plans and oversees the analysis, inspection, design, test, and/or integration to assure the quality of product.
- Performs quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements, including vendor quality manuals and company quality records.
- Applies statistical process control (SPC) methods for analyzing data to evaluate the current product, processes and process changes.
- Reviews all data obtained during all quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure consistency with customer and company policies and procedures.
- Keeps management team abreast of quality standards and significant issues or developments identified during quality activities and actions being taken to improve the situation.
- Directs the quality department including a quality engineer, gauge technician, CMM technician and Quality supervisor who oversees the workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, and products.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITES:
- Working knowledge of machined parts and their applications.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities and deadlines while easily adapting to changing situations.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, customer service, problem solving and stress management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and general Quality system functionality.
- Maintain professional image as a representative of the company.
- Effectively read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, product specifications and procedures manuals.
- Ability to accurately add, subtract, multiply, and divide with or without using a calculator.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment.
