POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing a dedicated team of Sales Representatives within your assigned territory. Your primary focus will be to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and build strong customer relationships. You will play a pivotal role in developing and executing sales strategies, while fostering a culture of success and accountability within your team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Sales Representatives to meet and exceed sales targets. Provide coaching, guidance, and ongoing training to ensure their success.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory sales plan to identify and target key customers and prospects. Continuously analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to drive strategy.
- Drive sales growth within your region by establishing sales goals, monitoring performance, and implementing strategies to achieve targets. Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling our products and services.
- Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with key customers and partners. Understand their needs and preferences, and act as a trusted advisor to provide solutions that align with their goals.
- Regularly analyze sales data and prepare reports to provide insights into performance, trends, and opportunities. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjustments to the sales strategy.
- Effectively manage the regional sales budget, ensuring resources are allocated optimally to support sales activities and meet financial targets.
- Ensure that the team operates in compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven track record of at least 10 years in sales, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Experience in the construction or building materials industry, particularly in exterior cladding, is highly advantageous.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Results-driven mindset with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
COMPENSATION
Compensation will include a competitive compensation package of $200,000 OTE (On Target Earnings) including an attractive UNCAPPED commission program. It also includes car allowance, cell phone, laptop, expense account, an inspiring work environment and an awesome team setting.
