What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supply Chain Manager position at Confidential?
We are currently looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join our growing team!
Primary Functions:
Responsible for leading component sourcing, planning, and production scheduling. The roles primary functions include daily direct customer interaction, partnering with Sales as a critical point of contact for customers. Collaboration across all internal departments and suppliers to ensure that production demands are met according to customer orders and forecasts.
Skills & Knowledge Required:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, or equivalent experience
· 3 years of supply chain, logistics, or warehouse management experience
· 5 years of relevant work experience in supply chain, production planning, and/or logistics
· Experience managing a team and interacting with executive management
· Continuous improvement mentality is a must
· Highly proficient in Microsoft Office product suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
· Experience with ERP systems including bill of materials, routings, work orders, scheduling
· Experience and comfort working with large data sets and building excel analyses
· Direct supply chain experience in a regulated manufacturing environment is a plus.
· Strong communication skills to internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers; commercial, customer service mindset
· “Player-coach” leader with desire to manage, empower, and grow a team while improving processes
· Detail oriented, with a high degree of personal accountability; analytical thinker with problem-solving skills
· Ability to prioritize and display a sense of urgency based on objectives and deadlines
· Self-starter with the ability to own projects and tasks from start to finish
· Team player, and strong ability to collaborate across groups like Quality, R&D, and Operations in a fast-paced, high growth manufacturing environment
