About the role:

The Enterprise Account Executive will play a fundamental role in driving Confluent’s sales activities into large customers. This role includes activities developing and executing on the go-to-market strategy for your territory. The ideal candidate needs to have experience selling to large Fortune 500 customers and knows how to grow and expand these accounts.

What we are looking for:
  • At least 8 years of quota-carrying experience in a complex, solution sales environment 
  • Previous experience selling open source, Saas, consumption-based software, data integration or Cloud platform offerings
  • A record of overachieving against your quota
  • Experience selling to technical personas
  • Rigorous Sales Methodology and Sales Process (MEDDPIC etc) proven by accurate forecasts and clear communication throughout the deal cycle 
  • A competitive, hungry driven salesperson with an incredibly high activity rate. 
  • BONUS POINTS: Previous experience with consumption-based selling

We analyze and carefully consider several factors when determining compensation, including work history, education, professional experience and location. This position has an annual estimated salary of $126,500 - $145,500 USD, an annual bonus, and a competitive equity package. The actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience and work location. In addition, Confluent offers a wide range of employee benefits.
