The Role
The District Manager is primarily a field-based job responsible for achieving sales and merchandising targets by effectively coaching and managing a team of Field Sales Representatives. They are responsible for recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training of direct reports. The District Manager will work hard, communicate well, build strong business relationships, and have a positive winning mentality.

Key Responsibilities
· Recruit, hire, train, supervise and develop Field Sales Representatives.
· Work in conjunction with General Manager to set sales and KPI targets
· Effective route rides focused on development of Field Sales
· Gives direct and specific feedback to direct reports through effective coaching and performance reviews
· Conducts regular sales meetings designed to inspire, inform, and train direct reports
· Motivates and inspires sales team to be successful via professional trainings, positive and constructive feedback, building professional mentor relationships, and leading by example
· Communicate problems, needs, and successes with Sales and General Manager
· Complete needed administration through CRM
Key Skills and Experience Required
· 5 years of management experience in the beverage industry
· Proven track record of being able to motivate and build a successful sales team and with initiatives that build and create strong trade partnerships
· Key account management experience
· Strong leadership skills to provide mentoring, training or corrective feedback
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including being able to prepare presentation materials and present the information one-on-one and in a group
· Strong analytical skills - data based decision making
· Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, VIP, and Encompass
Role Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
· 3 years of sales management experience in the beverage industry
· Strong analytical skills – data based decision making
· Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, VIP, and Encompass
· Must be able to lift products from 25 – 50 lbs on a regular basis
· Must be able to be DOT certified
Travel
· 50%
· This position requires a clean driving record and authorization to obtain your Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) upon receiving and accepting a job offer
