EDI Analyst II - Remote
The EDI Analyst will develop, coordinate, implement, and monitor the company EDI systems and transactions between our company and our trading partners. This individual will have an understanding of EDI software, standards, and practices. The EDI Administrator will also act as a liaison between our company, our trading partner network and our Customer Experience team.
Accountabilities:
Configure, monitor and interact with EDI systems and processes to insure an efficient and reliable transactional flow.
Activities:
Monitor routing EDI transactions and coordinate activities of partners and internal teams to resolve systemic failures and maintain reliable processes.
Troubleshoot transactional issues with EDI documents. Work in conjunction with vendor partners and customer experience teams to rapidly resolve any problems and avoid negative impact on end customer. May sometimes involve after-hours work.
Design and develop improvements to EDI processes to make them more reliable and reduce reliance on human intervention.
Work with new or existing trading partners to plan onboarding / change activities and to manage existing relationships.
Understand and monitor costs associated with EDI transactions and partnerships and where possible recommend cost improvements.
May be asked to assist with creation of transaction maps, connectivity testing, and other issues related to set up of EDI transactions.
Maintain documentation related to EDI processes and technical configuration. Assist in planning and testing of business continuity as it relates to EDI.
Stay current with emerging trends in business-to-business transaction exchange
Work Experience Requirements:
2 or more years of EDI and related experience, including a thorough understanding of EDI documents and specifications, standards, and practices.
Working knowledge of EDI connectivity protocols and formats, including ANSI, X12 and EDIFACT.
Hands on experience configuring and monitoring EDI systems and software preferred.
Mapping experience would be considered a plus.
Superior organization skills and attention to detail are essential skills for this position.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science or Business curriculum required.
This position is Remote.
Disclosure as required by Colorado law, the annual salary range for this position is $63,000 to $100,000. The actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education and skill level. The salary range is CONMED’s good faith belief at the time of this posting.
