Connect for Health has a great opportunity for a UX Researcher and Operations Analyst.


Connect for Health Colorado is a public, non-profit entity established by the Colorado General Assembly in 2011 to create a health insurance Marketplace. Since 2013, we’ve been helping individuals, families and small employers compare plans, apply for financial help, and buy health insurance. As Colorado’s official health insurance marketplace, we are the only place to apply for financial help to lower the monthly cost of premiums. Customers can shop online; get help by phone or online chat from Customer Service Center representatives; and access expert help from a statewide network of certified Brokers and community-based Assisters. Position Summary:


The UX Researcher and Operations Analyst will oversee our product's research process and supporting operations to ensure customer needs, feedback, and opportunities are identified and communicated. The ideal applicant will have a thorough understanding of user research best practices, user test design and execution, product feedback loops, the ability to evaluate data to bring insights to the product team and experience with product analytics software. 


Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and execution of user research used to inform product goals and designs.
  • Facilitate user interviews and other user/market research
  • Create, maintain and analyze customer journeys and customer experiences 
  • Gather and analyze product data, surfacing to relevant teams to inform the direction and understanding of key features
  • Act as a subject matter expert in product analytics tools to support product teams in analyzing data and making better-informed decisions 
  • Build and iterate on systems that inform the product team of key user issues and seeing through their resolutions
  • Summarize trends and themes from feature requests and support tickets

Requirements

  

Position Requirements:


  • Colorado resident
  • Education and or training in Product Psychology, Human Interaction Computing, or Product Design preferred
  • 3 years of experience in user research, product management, or product design
  • Proficiency in UX design prototyping software and user testing tools 
  • Experience with Agile
  • Proficiency with product analytics software 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Passion for data and improving customer experience
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of our system and highly sensitive information

Work Environment:

  • Currently working remotely
  • The Connect for Health Colorado office is in the North Tech Center area of Denver, near the intersection of I-25 and I-225
  • Work schedule may include some non-traditional hours, weekends, and evening events.
  • Core office hours, typically 8am-5pm with some flexibility 

Total Compensation:


Connect for Health Colorado offers a competitive benefits package. Using Connect for Health Colorado’s annual benefits allowance, employees may elect from various benefit offerings and tailor a package to best suit their individual needs. Connect for Health Colorado employees are eligible to participate in the organization’s 403(b) plan and are additionally provided with paid time off, short- and long-term disability and life insurance.  The Salary Range for this position is $77,200 - $99,000.
