What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics Analyst position at connect?
The Logistics Analyst will support our team as well as provide vendors, carriers, and internal customers with insight and resolution to shipping, visibility and costing questions or issues. The Analyst can/will ensure product movement is completed to meet the customers on time expectation in the most cost-efficient manner, both internal and external customers.
What You will Do
· Invoice audit and approval, review carrier invoices and confirm accuracy of rates and service levels.
· Tracking and tracing shipments with various service providers.
· Maintain shipping logs and communicate shipping activities with vendors, customers and internal departments.
· Effectively maintain and coordinate daily outgoing shipments according to customers, industry and company guidelines.
· Prepare necessary documentation (BOL’s, shipping labels, customs paperwork, etc.) for domestic and international shipments.
· Work with Finance on wire transfers and monthly customs documentation
· Fulfill internal quote requests by working with our logistics service providers
What You Bring
· Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent experience in a related field.
· Minimum 1 year experience in logistics transportation.
· Computer hardware industry experience preferred but not required.
· Familiarity with Incoterms.
· Proficiency with Microsoft office applications - Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
· National and international communication skills a plus.
· Experience with VLOOKUP and Power Pivot a plus.
