Salary Scale: $50,000/yearly
Description of Position
The Clinical Supervisor will provide direct clinical supervision to clinicians working in Men’s Residential Program. The Clinical Supervisor will direct employees in the Integrated Outpatient Settings in providing recovery oriented services that are based on the goals and preferences of the individuals served. Provide clinical direction to all MRP team members and interns. The Clinical Supervisor may be scheduled for rotating weekend coverage to provide leadership and guidance to clinical staff and performs other duties as requested or assigned, verbally or in writing.
Education and Experience
•A Master’s Degree
•Prior experience in mental health, drug/alcohol rehabilitation
Professional Credentials/Certifications
•CADC certification
•Obtains all training, skills, and certifications required by the organization, accreditors, and contractors
Position Requirements
•Valid driver’s license
•Ability to travel regularly to statewide satellite sites.
•Must receive and maintain a satisfactory background investigation report annually
•Annual Tuberculin Skin Testing and CPR certification
Responsibilities
•Delivers individual, group and family treatment and assessment services to program participants.
o Maintains the clinical file for assigned clients to include the following:
o Assurance that written assessments are completed within assigned time frame and using the approved instruments;
o Preparation and presentation of treatment plans and reviews within required time frames; documentation of services and response to treatment to include timely completion of all required encounter and summary data
•Participates in treatment planning and case conferences with other staff and with other agencies as required.
•Monitors and ensures that clinical records are maintained and that quarterly supervision is completed.
•Attends Treatment Team meetings. Provides both verbal and written clinical recommendations that promote recovery and person centered planning.
•Provides clinical supervision to those seeking certification/licensure as well as interns.
•Attends regular staff meetings and treatment plan review meetings. Provides clinical supervision to ensure that all treatment plan reviews are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements.
•Meets at least weekly with Counselor 2 positions for clinical supervision. S/he will complete document review, co-sign documents, provide assessment and feedback of counselor 2’s performance. S/he will develop an employment plan with training and experience that the counselor 2 will need to obtain and time frames for completion.
•Provides supervision to interns working in the Integrated Outpatient Clinics.
•Assures that program complies with Drug Free Workplace requirements.
•Thorough appropriate clinical supervision assures that all program staff are aware of PM 46 regulations and 42CFRand 45 CFR confidentiality guidelines and that all staff adhere to required guidelines.
•Creates and maintains an environment which fosters group decision-making and treatment planning whereby each member is accountable for group decisions.
•Performs other duties as requested or assigned, verbally or in writing.
