Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Position Overview
Connectivity Source is a rapidly growing multi-state organization, and this position offers career development opportunities for the right candidate. The Accounts Payable Clerk should be able to multitask and be proficient in processing, and recording transactions, assisting with audits and/or fact-checking. The person in this role should be thorough, and accurate, with assigned tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities
Downloading assigned invoices from various vendor sites and
uploading for coding.
Coding of assigned invoices.
Clearing related invoice payments
Research and verify vendor inquiries/differences if any.
Handling communications with vendors via phone or email.
Assisting with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies.
Performing basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phones,
processing mail, etc.
Other related duties as assigned.
Accounts Payable Clerk Requirements:
Proficiency with computers with strong typing skills.
Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.
Commitment to working efficiently and accurately.
Willingness to acquire new skills/accept training by Manager and Peers
Qualifications:
Previous Accounts Payable Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
QuickBooks
or similar accounting system
