What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Inspector position at Conrex?
CONREX is a leader in the Single-Family Rental industry, and we believe that our employees are our greatest strength. We are seeking a passionate Residential Inspector to join our team in Indianapolis, IN.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Complete detailed interior/exterior inspection of homes for cosmetic and safety checks.
- Complete vacancy checks and move out reports.
- Work alongside Property Management Team and Project Management Team.
- All other duties as assigned.
Key Accountabilities
Reno-Turn (30% of time)
- Inspection: Identify any issues that need addressing.
- Verification: Verify any repairs that have been completed.
- Quality Assurance: Verify the quality of repairs.
Move-in 30% of time
- Quality Assurance: Verify the home is ready for occupancy.
- Safety: Verify the property is safe for occupancy.
- Functionality: Verify the functionality of all system and appliances in home.
- Documentation: Create reports on needed repairs, and work completed.
Reno Scope (10% of time)
- Inspection: Identify any issues that need addressing.
- SOW: Identify any issues that need addressing using the Conrex standard.
- Safety: Verify the property is safe for occupancy.
- Documentation: Create reports on needed repairs, and work completed.
Move-out (30% of time)
- Inspection: Identify any issues that need addressing.
- Reporting: Create reports on needed repairs, and work completed.
- Vacancy checks: Verify the property is empty after move-out.
- Documentation: Create reports on needed repairs, and work completed.
Key Metrics
- Number of Maintenance Requests received within 90 days of move-ins
Minimum requirements include:
- High School or Associate Degree
- 2 Years Maintenance/Construction Experience
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
- Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
- Certified Home Inspector
