What You'll Do
The Weapon Data Supervisor oversees the daily work performed by Weapon Records clerks. The supervisor provides direction to subordinate staff, assigning and monitoring the completion of the work, as well as providing technical assistance and generally managing the bargaining workforce. Expected to identify and ensure that appropriate actions are taken to support the timely and effective completion of assigned tasks. This includes ensuring that company policies and practices are followed in all phases of weapon records and personnel-related functions, including but not limited to the hiring and supervision of bargaining employees. The Weapon Data Supervisor also is responsible for ensuring that employees comply with Company policies and procedures, and the requirements of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Directly supervise and coordinate activities of bargaining Weapons Records clerks
Manage personnel and equipment resources for work
Review and approve time records for direct reports
Required to provide management and oversight of weapons data management activities for the organization
Must be able to effectively and efficiently communicate verbally and in written form
Specific tasks include management and oversight of:
Approve schedules and time off as well as assign back-up coverage for programs
Ensure the safe execution of work in the crafts group while meeting work schedules, quality standards, and adherence to department budget
Provide technical guidance to the team and assist with resolution to issues
May manage entry-level exempt staff
Collaborates with internal stakeholders
Teaches within a team and/or coordinates work activities across multiple groups
Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Minimum Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
Preferred candidates will have experience with weapon records (i.e. prep charts, procedures, and PDMLink) as well as IPRO.

Requires a Q clearance; however all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance is required.
Position may require entry into Materials Access Areas (MAA) and participation in the Human Reliability Program (HRP). If HRP is required, candidate must complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph, pursuant to 10CFR 709. Medical requirements may apply.
