What are the responsibilities and job description for the Email Compliance Specialist position at Constant Contact?
The Email Compliance Specialist will ensure that SharpSpring’s platform is able to provide reliable email deliverability for our customers. You will be responsible for communicating with our customers regarding abnormal behavior that may pose a risk to our email platform using information such as historical sending stats, blacklisting alerts, direct complaints, email content, and new customer signup data. This is an important role that is an integral part of SharpSpring’s larger goals of customer success and constantly improving the overall email experience for our customers.
What you'll do:
- Communicating with accounts who may be compromising the platform with their email sending practices
- In limited cases, terminating accounts that pose a risk to our email platform
- Reviewing current processes and making recommendations for improving efficiency
- Developing tailored improvement plans for select SharpSpring customers based on established best practices for email deliverability
- Analyzing current compliance needs, gaps, and processes; reporting on findings and presenting solutions to management

- Public speaking and/or training experience and comfort presenting and articulating concepts in front of small to medium-sized audiences
