The Role at a glance:
We are looking to add an enthusiastic, friendly event server to our team at Historic Thomas Jefferson's Monticello in Charlottesville, VA! As an event server, you will have the opportunity to engage a diverse clientele across a variety of events.
Background and Drug screening are required for this role.
What you'll be doing:
- Greeting customers, explaining menu items, taking and delivering orders, and continuing with follow-up items.
- Ensuring that service follows health code regulations.
- Basic customer service interactions.

Must-haves:
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and service knowledge.
Nice-to-haves:
- At least one year of foodservice experience in a catering or restaurant setting.
Compensation:
Starting at $20/hour
